REFUND POLICY for PET SEARCH
LOST PET SERVICES
For the term of the agreement as set forth herein Pet Search agrees to provide lost pet services. Pet Search reserves the right to change, amend and/or otherwise alter the services provided with equivalent or otherwise equal services without prior notice to you.
The standard Pet Search product is in the form of documents either in electronic or hard copy format.
The standard Pet Search service is provision of lost pet database searching and organising requested publicity for a total registration fee or a fee per individual task.
Registration Agent refers to the person/owner requesting the services of Pet Search to find a lost pet.
Pet Search requires full payment for all requested services and products prior to their supply.
SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Suspension – At the sole option of Pet Search for any reason set forth herein or in the event that you breach any term of this agreement including but not limited to Payment of Fees and Acceptable Use Policy. Pet Search may suspend your registration while maintaining the information and data related to your account upon the Pet Search database. Suspension shall specifically include the disabling of lost pet’s details on the website and searching database. In the event of any such suspension you will be notified and given an opportunity to correct such breach. In the event that such breach is not corrected within seven (7) days the account may be terminated. Service charges will continue to accrue on suspended accounts as if they were not suspended. You will remain responsible for the payment of any such charges during any such period of suspension.
Termination – This agreement and all of its terms shall remain in full force and effect until it is terminated. Termination shall include the canceling of a lost pet registration by the registration agent requesting Pet Search services. It also includes the completion of services provided by Pet Search.
In the event of an early termination requested by the registration agent there will be no refund provided.
Pet Search will provide a refund or replacement product in the following circumstances:
- A product or service ordered by the client is no longer available;
- Pet Search cancels a product or service in part or in full;
- The price charged varies in excess of the advertised price;
- Pet Search replaces a prepaid product or service with a one at a lesser price;
- The person or organisation billed did not originate the charge as a result of
- fraudulent use of credit cards or other such circumstances.
Product or Service No Longer Available
In the case that a product or service has been purchased and Pet Search is unable to supply that product or service due to the fact that it is no longer available the client may request a full refund.
A refund may only be considered in the case that the client’ s disapproval of the product is attributable in whole to an error on the part of Pet Search which is acknowledged by Pet Search. Pet Search will not unreasonably deny the commission of an error that may cause eligibility for refund.
In the event that the cost of a product or service decreases prior to delivery, the client shall be entitled to a refund totaling the difference in costs.
In the event that a product or service is replaced by one at a lesser price prior to delivery, the client shall be entitled to a refund totaling the difference in costs.
Proof of Purchase
A Client is required to provide proof of purchase for all products and/or services for which a refund is sought. Proof of purchase includes the reference number/name for the purchase and may also include credit card details; cheque details; or the lost pet’s registration number/name.
Form of Refunds
A refund will be provided in the form of electronic transfer of funds to a nominated bank account or via cheque only.
Changing technology, and legal developments, this Policy may be changed from time to time in Pet Search sole discretion and without any prior notice or liability to you or any other person.
